Culver City, 1979. At just 3 years old, I witnessed my parents, filled with nostalgia for their childhood home in India, open an International Grocery Store - the first of its kind in a small suburb of Los Angeles. It was in this shop that I grew up.
Looking back at that time, I feel the love, understanding, and passion for the spices, food, and each other that they possessed, which is what makes our brand, Rani Brand Authentic Indian Products, what it is today. I am Suneel Chander, the co-founder, and in our 40 years as a family-owned company, I have taken great pride in bringing our products to your tables. The unwavering support and appreciation from our customers all over the world is what keeps me moving forward every single day.
Our Rani Garam Masala is an authentic 11-spice blend, traditionally from Northern India, and a staple in Indian cookery. Garam, when translated, means "warm", which best describes the properties of this blend. Warming ingredients such as cinnamon, mace, and ginger give our Garam Masala a mellow, appealing aroma. It is an essential ingredient when making sauces for meat and poultry dishes, as well as a great companion to vegetable and lentil recipes. Garam masala is often used towards the end of the cooking process as an added seasoning and it is often sprinkled over finished dishes to enhance the flavor.
Our Rani Garam Masala is available in Poly Bags and PET Jars, and is now KOSHER! It is 100% Natural, Gluten Friendly, and contains No Preservatives, Added Sugar, Salt, or MSG. It is also NON-GMO and Non-ETO (not irradiated), making it Vegan-friendly. We take pride in producing this spice in small batches to ensure freshness and purity.
Rani Garam Masala can be used in a variety of ways, including as a base, rub, or curry ingredient, as well as in lentil dishes, soups, and pickle preserves. It provides a complex flavor profile that is ideal for almost all subzis (vegetable dishes). The spice can also be blended into samosas for a classic combination, used while tempering dals and khichdis, added to marinades, or sprinkled over papads.
At Rani Brand, we are committed to providing the highest quality, authentic Indian products. Unlike other companies that use co-packers, we directly import from our own factories in India, test and package our ingredients to ensure quality, consistency, and the best flavors. We are also one of the largest wholesale suppliers of Indian Food products in the U.S. and are trusted by hundreds of the nation's top ethnic retailers. Our single vertical supply chain allows us to offer the best value and freshness, making Rani Brand Products one of a kind.
